Advanced Interoperable Organizations.

Ricardo Goncalves (UNINOVA), Celson Lima (CSTB)

This workshop is putting together relevant papers on worldwide researching works clearly contributing for advances in the state of the art in Intelligent Infrastructures for Advanced Interoperable Organizations.

Major research topics include Enterprise Modelling, Architectures, Methodologies and Governance, Intelligent Infrastructures and Platforms for Networked Organizations, Model Designed Solutions, integrating Enterprise Engineering Disciplines. Focus is on:

Enterprise Modeling, Architectures and Governance
Modeling methodologies, sub-modeling, viewing, meta-modeling, and model and knowledge management. The layered Enterprise Architecture, the knowledge architecture, and governance methods and solutions are themes of great importance.

Aiming: Upgrade state-of-the-art in industrial modeling of enterprise processes, of aspects and views modeling, of enterprise architecture modeling, and of architecture and operational governance.

Intelligent Infrastructures and Platforms for Networked Organizations
Intelligent Infrastructures and Services, Model-driven software, repositories, software and data integration, and a new approach to interoperable solutions design and generation. The use of web-based platforms and infrastructures in projects like Athena and Interop NoE will be reported on for first time.
Aiming: To both present the technologies involved and operational solutions built, both in the context of concrete project examples

Model Designed Solutions, integrating Enterprise Engineering Disciplines
Emerging new holistic approach to developing, delivering and deploying customer solutions. This approach recognizes that Systems Engineering is just one of many engineering disciplines important for a high quality solution. Solutions and systems must be designed, then engineered, produced, prototyped, deployed and managed with much greater ease than in the past.
Aiming: To present the present status and the future of realizing web-designed and deployable solutions.
